Community Events

There are 2 annual events for residents, the annual meeting to review HOA business, and the picnic - a social event.

 Annual Meeting

Generally held in late October, all residents are invited to an annual meeting to review the HOA business. While attendance is optional, this annual meeting is required by the community covenants. The annual meeting is designed to foster transparency and visibility about HOA activities. The board of directors and members of subcommittees take turns reviewing the activities over the past year. Additionally, financial activities and assets will be presented. While the board and subcommittees can be contacted at any time during the year, the annual meeting offers a chance to ask questions live.

The Association will advertize the annual meeting location and time by posting signs in conspicuous locations several weeks prior to the meeting.

Picnic

The community organizes a picnic for all residents and their guests. The picnic is usually in the fall, around the first few weeks of October. The HOA provides hamburgers, veggie burgers, and hotdogs. Residents bring a side dish, their drinks, and a camp chair. Often there are friendly competitions organized. Lately, the Fishing competition and the Cookie competition are crowd favorites.

The Association will advertize the picnic location and time by posting signs in conspicuous locations several weeks prior. Additionally, you can RSVP at the picnic website.
